Welcome Back to the Summer Terms!
Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter and managed to chill for some of the break. We are now ready for the summer terms and all that they bring! Monday 1st May and Monday 8th May are both Bank Holidays. So it will be a short and quick term in many ways!
We are on track to meet many of Cobham’s aspirations and targets this year and the children’s progress has been fantastic. I am super proud of them and the team. I know you will be too when you meet with the teachers ‘via zoom’ to discuss the children’s progress and annual school reports (1-6) that will be sent home to you tomorrow. Booking details for parent-meeting zoom slots will be sent to you shortly.
At the end of last term, Miss Slade announced that she was adding to her family and we are very excited for her! She will be with us until the end of this term. The reception children were delighted when she told them! Exciting times ahead for Miss Slade and her family.
This term is a crazy, busy one! But every term feels like that! So please note the diary dates below!
Tuesday 18th April – Year 1 – 6 Annual School Reports will be with you! (Year R will receive theirs in July!)
Wednesday 19th April – Reception class begin their weekly visits to Forest School
Thursday 20th April – Bag2School Collection-reminder to follow
Friday 21st April – St George’s Day – Wear Red and White – £1 donation please!
Saturday 22nd April– Mini Marathon in London – details have already been sent!
Monday 24th April – A dentist is visiting Year R to talk to them about the importance of our teeth!
Tuesday 25th April – Year 1 to visit the Mobile Library
Tuesday 25th & Thursday 27th April – Zoom Parent Meetings 1.30pm – 4.30pm (Parents of children with SEND will have longer time slots)
Wednesday 26th April – Coffee session for parents of children with SEND 2.30pm School Hall
Tuesday 2nd May– King’s Coronation Workshops for all children
Wednesday 3rd May – Year 4 Trip to Warner Bros – Harry Potter World
Phonic information Session 2.40pm for Year 1 Parents
Thursday 4th May – Class 3 Egyptian Day
Friday 5th May – Stay and Share for Class 3 and 4 only 2.30pm
