School News
Welcome back to Term 5!

Dear Families,
Hope everyone has had a great break and had a chance to relax, chill and take a breath!
This term is another busy one and it will no doubt fly by! I hope everyone was thrilled with the children’s amazing annual school reports! Please return the slips with the information about the children’s achievements outside of school. Many of which we saw at the Talent Show at the end of last term!
Covid
The DFE guidance is that no one needs to test now if displaying symptoms (not that anyone can get hold of tests!) so please now be increasingly more aware of your child displaying any symptoms. If a child has a high temperature and feels unwell, we do not wish for them to be in school. If a child presents poorly whilst at school, we will contact you to collect your child. We need to learn to live with it, but poorly children must not be sent to school for any reason!
Homework
We are continuing with our focus purely on Reading and Spelling as this has been a great success. There will be a few bits and bobs along the way as well – especially as we head towards our Jubilee event for Her Majesty! (More details to follow!) Year 6 may have a few bits and bobs too in readiness for their SATs tests this term, but predominately we wish for the children to remain focused on their Reading and Spelling.
