Dear Parents, Children and Team members,

Term 5 is fast approaching and we are already looking ahead towards it. Many of the children will come home today with letters regarding the next two terms’ after school clubs! There is plenty of choice! Some require the slips and cash to be returned, others are bookable online. All information is below and/on the letters! Please register your child’s interest as soon as possible so that I can hopefully organise everything by the end of term. I am always so grateful for your help in this!

Sad news

Mrs Coombs, one of our fab TAs has decided to leave us next week due to the wish of having more time for her family and herself. She has provided invaluable support this year to the Year 5 team and I know they and the children will sorely miss her. Thank you Antonia for all you have done this year for our very lucky children! We wish you the very, very best with your plans.

Easter

Any decorated eggs can be brought to the school hall on Tuesday 27th March before school starts. (No sensory circuit on this day in the hall!) Tables will be clearly marked as to where to place them, but please ensure that your child’s entry is clearly named ready for judging! On Thursday the children will need their bonnets and hard -boiled eggs if they wish to enter these competitions!

Parents’ Evening next week

Please do not allow children to play in and around the school site whilst you are meeting with the teachers. The children must wait in the cloakrooms if they are with you during these times. Your child’s school report (not Class R – end of the school year) will be shared with you this Friday. I hope that you will be very pleased with your child’s progress and support their areas for development during the remainder of the year. I have read each and every one of the reports and would like to say how proud & fortunate I am to be head teacher at Cobham with such hardworking, determined and kind pupils who are nurtured, guided and taught by the very best team.
