What an amazing year we have had at Cobham. Our children have made fantastic progress both academically & socially this year! We are very proud of each and everyone of them. Of course the children’s success is due to the superb commitment and dedication of our teaching team and of course your continued support of them and us as a school. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful families, the very best children and the most fantastic team. I am also blessed to have Mrs Styles who is my right arm in all that I do and Mrs Heap, who this year has fulfilled her role as Deputy Head with excellence. Thank you to you both for all your support and giggles. I could not have done it without you both.
Today is a sad day as we are about to lose some of our very best. Year 6 are about to start their leavers’ party in a minute and we cannot thank them enough for being one of the best Year 6s; in terms of how they get along with each other and the kindness that they show to others each and every day. They have been great ambassadors for our school and their secondary schools will be most lucky to have them. We wish them the very best and send them huge hugs as they make their way in the world. Aim high!
I must also say a massive thank you to Mrs Crush, Miss Whittington & Miss Baker, all of whom are leaving us for bigger and brighter things. Mrs Crush, you have been simply the best. Miss Whittington, you are a credit to the profession (and a lovely lady!) and I hope our path crosses again soon & Miss Baker, one of the nicest, smiliest and most caring ladies that we have been lucky enough to have at Cobham. I wish them all the very best.
Lastly on behalf of my team and the school governors, I would like to wish all of you, our families and our children, a wonderful break. I hope it is a chance to catch up with loved ones, a chance to have some fun, create some happy memories for the children and simply chill! I most definitely cannot wait!
Much love to you all,
