Year 6 Invitation to Join

After the Easter holiday Cobham Community Youth Club at the Meadow Room in Cobham is open to all children in Year 6 who are most welcome to join.

The CSL Youth Club has been running for many years from the Meadow Room in Cobham. We run every 2 weeks, on a Friday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm during term time.

Details of the dates for each session can be found in the Meadow Room. The entrance fee is £3 for members and £3.50 for visitors, per child, which is collected at the start of every session, this helps with the running costs of the Club. There is also an annual membership fee of £10 for the year payable in September.

Our Youth Workers are Stacey, Amit and Rav from The Grand in Gravesend who are a real asset to the club, they have organised some fun sessions and are keen to ensure the club reaches out to the local community. There is a rota available if any parent would like to give something back to the community by volunteering their time to help out during a session. We hope you and your child will be able to support the Club and come along so it can continue to thrive into the next academic year and beyond.

More about The Grand in Gravesend

The club offers a wonderful opportunity for our children to continue friendships built and nurtured over their time at Cobham Primary School whilst enjoying the facilities and activities provided.

Membership is not strictly for Cobham Primary children only – friends are also welcome to come along and join too, so please do spread the word. If your child wishes to invite their new friends from their new school after they begin Year 7, they are most welcome. It’s nice to see old and new friends all joining in, having fun and making wonderful memories.

What activities and events have we going forward:

We have some great events planned:

23rd March – we going to do team games/community work ideas

9th March – Mothers Day Craft and pitta bread pizza

23rd March is Easter week + Sport Relief – sports activities and an Easter Egg Hunt

20 April is bowling week where we will be visiting a local bowling avenue

5th May – Munchies Festival Fund raising stall

TBC – Camp on The Meadow (Yr 7’s and above)

We look forward to seeing your children in April.
